I wasn't there when they figured it out seems like no one told me how hard it was gonna be i wasn't there when they wrote it down arbitrary guide lines spoken to me about how to live and who to be but i still feel the pressure i still feel the shame and the shame turns to anger and that anger turns to pain what are they gonna think? what should i think? think back to the time when you first realized it wasn't getting better, its something i'm fed up with this addiction to a speech pattern that caters to the ones who don't different in the slightest bit the rich gay white men fellow outcasts ostracize you, something's going wrong marriage equality, standing up to bullies, and the right to die in foreign wars your complaints are such a bore we're doing fine, just fine without you breaking out think back to the time when you first realized it wasn't getting better, its something i'm fed up with this addiction to a speech pattern that caters to the ones who don't different in the slightest bit the rich gay white men fellow outcasts ostracize you, something's going wrong I am not your pity trip i am not your poster kid i am not your new hit song we don't need for us to get better, we're doing just fine on our own

about

Recorded in March 2015, finished in September. We went to the studio to record an album with our old band The Dealbreakers, but we took the songs over to Japan In The 80's and we felt this album needed to be released.

credits

released September 25, 2015

On this album Japan In The 80's is:

Chris Ricci - Drums
Tom Ripley - Guitar and Vocals
Eric Muniec - Guitar and Vocals
Scott Jones- Bass and Vocals

Recorded and produced by Pablo Cabrara at his home studio (pablo is the best and we love him dearly)

All songs written by us, except Mr Burns, which was written by Ripley, James Disaster, Michael Webermann, and Dan ABH (aka the Harrison Four)

Thanks to Jake for being the dopest and being in this band, Dan ABH for the constant criticism, Mary Kobor for telling us what i've said on ambien, Connor Menges for looking like Ryan Gosling, and Satan.
